Nicanores de Boñar
The story began in 1880, when Nicanor Rodríguez González decided to set up a bakery in the village. He was unaware that this was the place where the puff pastry, known as “Nicanores de Boñar”, would be made.
Although the recipe is secret and has been passed down from generation to generation, the raw materials used are butter, flour, eggs and sugar.
This delicacy has become a hallmark of our municipality all over the world. It is an essential stop for locals and visitors, who cannot leave the village without taking home a box of this delicious delicacy.
Casa Chucho
Los chuchos
These are typical puff pastries from Boñar with which you can enjoy delicious almond slices with powdered sugar and angel’s hair inside.
They are prepared by one of the most traditional bakeries in the town, Casa Chucho.
Stews, game meat and the famous trout from our pristine rivers.
What an offer!
Our stews prepared with game meat are one of the main attractions of the region, accompanied by delicious cold meats, and to complement the gastronomic offer we have the queen of our rivers, the famous trout.
